Attention alert to all new or first-time moms:
There are so many products that will make your life easier, but to buy them all "new" will not be money savvy.
Products like co-sleepers, cribs and bath/bassinet trolleys are used only for 3 months. Maybe stretch it to 4 months, but then baby are usually too big and you need something else again.
Take for example infant seats, although they can last up till 13 kg, most babies are way too uncomfortable after 5 months. Their legs are too long and they are already kicking against the back seat. The car seat is also too heavy for mom, etc., etc. Rather spend your money on the 2nd phase car seat which will actually last a while.
Even breast pumps are controversial and moms should rather experiment with rental pumps before they buy.
