The RYA Powerboat and Personal Watercraft training courses gives you practical qualifications from the Level 2 course to the Advanced Certificate of competence. The skippers license can be used for pleasure or commercial use. Ideal for Superyacht crew, Charter boats, dive and tour RIBs, Steward / Stewardess, etc.
The RYA Level 2 certificate and Advanced Certificate of Competence is used all over the world by skippers working around harbours and offshore. This includes the Superyacht industry, Yachtmaster, deck crew, and harbour masters. The commercial qualifications allow skippers to work on a 24 meter boat up to 20 miles off shore during the day and night. This is equivalent to the RYA Yachtmaster Coastal Motor Cruising Certificate. All these courses and exams are supported by the MCA.
