Tropical Fish by Brian Ward which describes the natural habitats of freshwater and marine fish, and the special requirements of the various species, how to choose equipment, set up and stock the aquarium, how to breed fish and recognise problems and diseases and reference is made to many plants and over 150 fish which are described and illustrated with information on their behaviour and needs
2. Tropical Marine Aquaria by Graham F Cox - this is a complete guide to establishing and maintaining a marine aquarium; almost all the fishes and invertebrates commonly seen in dealers' tanks are described and illustrated and there are valuable sections on feeding aquarium animals, the treatment of diseases and tips on breeding.
