STEMS READY
Stems is a completely new way to DJ. A Stem file is an open, multi-channel audio file that contains a track split into four musical elements – bass, drums, vocals, and melody, for example. With each element available independently, you can mix in ways that just weren’t possible until now. Create instant on-the-fly edits, mash-ups, a cappellas, and more with hands-on creative control.
Load a Stems track to the Stems deck, and a clear waveform display shows the parts of your track. Bring them in and out as required, control volume for fades and surges, and use filters to build tension. Stems tracks are available from Beatport, Bleep, Juno, Traxsource, whatpeopleplay, and Wasabeat. And you can get started with 65 free Stems tracks. Covering genres from techno, house, and funk to trap, drum and bass, and dubstep, and with a wide range of tempos, this 1.5 GB package is an essential performance tool.
